JAMSHEDPUR – Vice Chancellor Prof. Anjila Gupta of Jamshedpur Women’s University has announced an upcoming salary hike for vocational teachers after completing required procedures.

The university, now in its second year of operation, has been making significant strides in various areas.

Regular examinations have been consistently conducted since the institution’s inception.

JWU recently held its first convocation, marking a milestone in its academic journey.

The integration of degrees into DigiLocker has been successfully implemented, enhancing accessibility for students.

Prof. Gupta highlighted the streamlining of the academic bank credit system as another achievement.

Improvements have been made to the Savitribai Phule library, upgrading its facilities for students and faculty.

The university’s commitment to student success is evident in its improving placement opportunities.

A recent success story saw 109 female students securing positions at Tech Mahindra.

"This salary increase for vocational teachers demonstrates our dedication to strengthening vocational education," stated Prof. Gupta.

The decision is expected to have a positive impact on the quality of vocational teaching at JWU.
