JAMSHEDPUR – Gau Seva Commission Vice Chairman Raju Giri visited Jugsalai Gaushala on Tuesday evening and expressed strong disapproval of the unauthorized construction being carried out on the premises.
Giri noted that a pit over 25 feet deep had been dug at the construction site, posing a serious risk to the cows kept nearby.
The construction was being carried out without informing the commission, and no details were provided about the purpose of the mall being built.
Raju Giri stated that he would request a report from the Jugsalai Municipal Council and the Deputy Commissioner regarding this matter.
Additionally, he plans to prepare his own report and submit it to the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary.
He mentioned that he received information about the incident in the morning but refrained from visiting the site immediately to avoid disrupting relief efforts.
Giri ensured that all possible assistance was provided for the relief operations, including sending personnel to treat the injured cows.
