Durga Puja Committee Honors New State Cow Service VP, Raju Giri

Raju Giri, appointed as Vice President of the State Cow Service Commission, receives felicitation from the Sri Sri Sarvajanik Durga Puja Committee in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Sri Sri Sarvajanik Durga Puja Committee recently honored Raju Giri for his appointment as the Vice President of the State Cow Service Commission.

The ceremony took place at CP Kabir Club Tuiladungri and was chaired by Durga Puja Committee President Mithilesh Singh Yadav.

Raju Giri was presented with a shawl, bouquet, and garland as tokens of appreciation from the Puja Committee, and senior officials of the Committee were also honored with mementos.

In his address, Giri discussed the initiatives he would take in his role as Vice President, specifically towards cow protection in the district.

He pledged to inspect cow shelters and appeal to the state government for support based on their needs.

Additionally, he said he would request local MPs and MLAs to assist in his initiative.

Giri aims to improve the situation for both milch and dry cows, stating that he would pursue innovative ideas and work with the district administration for this purpose.

The event was conducted by Dinesh Kumar, the general secretary of the Puja Committee, and Kishore Kumar Raja gave the vote of thanks.

Several community members and former committee presidents also attended the event and shared their congratulations and best wishes.
