A woman named Nil Mukhi from Loco, Parsudih, was severely injured when the roof of an abandoned quarter in JEMCO, under Telco police station, collapsed on Saturday while she was collecting bricks.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a tragic incident, Nil Mukhi from Loco, Parsudih, was severely injured as the roof of an abandoned quarter in JEMCO collapsed while she was collecting bricks.

The accident occurred when Mukhi was picking up bricks from the debris of demolished quarters in JEMCO.

Despite warnings from others about the dangerous state of the structure, she continued her task, resulting in the collapse of the roof.

Local residents immediately rushed Mukhi to MGM Hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment for her injuries, including fractures in both legs.

Residents mentioned that the JEMCO quarters have not been demolished all at once, leading to frequent accidents in the area.

They urged the company responsible to take notice of the situation and ensure proper demolition to prevent further incidents.
