Commercial vehicles banned on major roads; private cars face time-based limits
Seraikela-Kharsawan district implements extensive traffic restrictions for Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s August 28 visit.
SERAIKELA – Seraikela-Kharsawan district announces comprehensive traffic restrictions on August 28 to facilitate Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s visit.
The District Transport Officer has declared a complete ban on all vehicle types entering the district during the Chief Minister’s visit.
Commercial vehicles will be prohibited on major roads from 6 am to 10 pm.
The affected areas include Chaibasa Road to BJP office, Birsa Chowk, and MP Sahu Petrol Pump.
The ban also extends to Giddibera Toll Plaza, Adityapur Toll Plaza, and the urban area of Adityapur.
Private vehicles will face time-based restrictions in specific areas.
The route from Gamharia Police Station to Kandra Morh will be off-limits for private vehicles from 8 am to 12 noon.
The same stretch will again be restricted for private vehicles from 3 pm to 6 pm.
These measures aim to ensure smooth traffic management during the Chief Minister’s visit.
Local residents are advised to plan their travel accordingly and expect potential delays in these areas.
