School Bus Overturns in Potka, Six Children Injured
Two students in critical condition after speeding driver loses control
A school bus from Netaji Subhash Public School overturned near Harina Bukamdih village, injuring six children.
JAMSHEDPUR – Six children sustained injuries as a school bus transporting pupils from Netaji Subhash Public School overturned in front of Harina Bukamdih village in Potka.
According to reports, two of the children who sustained injuries are currently in critical condition.
The tragedy occurred when the driver, who was purportedly attempting to compensate for lost time by increasing the speed of the vehicle, lost control of it.
Tata Main Hospital (TMH) is currently providing treatment to all injured students.
The bus, which bore the registration number OR 02AN – 2022, was purportedly delayed in departing the school.
The bus was carrying approximately 20 minors at the time of the accident.
Children screamed in distress as a result of the overturning, which caused hysteria and chaotic conditions.
Immediately following the disaster, local residents moved to provide aid to the victims.
The individual responsible for the Kowali police post Dhananjay Kumar Paswan promptly arrived at the location.
The injured children were transported to TMH for medical treatment with the assistance of a police official.
The other minors on the bus are reported to be in stable condition.
