Jamshedpur Police Launch ‘Kadam Taal’ Community Policing Initiative
Community policing drive aims to enhance public safety and engagement
Jamshedpur’s new ‘Kadam Taal’ program fosters police-public cooperation, promoting safety through market patrols and traffic awareness campaigns across the city.
JAMSHEDPUR – The city police have recently launched a new outreach program at Sakchi Golchakkar, with a strong emphasis on engaging with citizens and promoting safety measures.
Jamshedpur’s law enforcement has launched a new community policing initiative known as ‘Kadam Taal’ in order to enhance public relations and improve safety measures.
The initiative was inaugurated at Sakchi Golchakkar on Tuesday by City Superintendent of Police (SP) Rishabh Garg and Sakchi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sanjay Kumar.
A police team, along with a canine unit, conducted patrols in the market area, interacting with residents and vendors.
Police officers provided reassurance to shoppers, ensuring their safety during purchases, and offered guidance to business owners on implementing secure practices.
The initiative also prioritized traffic safety, with police emphasizing the importance of proper parking and helmet use for two-wheeler riders.
"Our objective is to establish a safe and secure atmosphere throughout Jamshedpur with the help of this outreach initiative," elaborated SP Garg.
The ‘Kadam Taal’ initiative is planning to extend its reach to multiple locations across the city. Authorities are urging the public to cooperate in order to ensure a safe environment.
