Dilapidated Road Endangers Villagers’ Safety

Neglected PCC Road to Niramishri Village Poses Serious Risk to Commuters

Deteriorating road conditions in Gamharia Panchayat raise safety concerns among residents. Local authorities face criticism for inaction despite repeated appeals.

JAMSHEDPUR – The PCC road leading to Niramishri village in Gamharia Panchayat, Baharagora block, has fallen into a state of severe disrepair, causing significant hardship for local residents.

The once-functional PCC road connecting Niramishri village in Gamharia Panchayat has deteriorated significantly, raising alarm among local residents.

A large portion of the road has collapsed, creating a dangerous pothole along its edge.

"Navigating this road has become a daily gamble for us," said Ramesh Kumar, a concerned villager.

The road’s poor condition has made travel extremely challenging for locals, particularly during the rainy season.

Villagers report frequent accidents, especially at night, with two-wheeler riders often sustaining injuries due to the hazardous surface.

"The road is nothing but a collection of potholes and loose gravel," remarked Sunita Devi, another resident affected by the situation.

Local community members have repeatedly appealed to their elected representatives for road repairs.

Despite multiple requests, no action has been taken to address the deteriorating infrastructure, fueling growing frustration among the villagers.

The situation worsens during monsoons, with increased risk of accidents and isolation for the community.

This ongoing issue highlights the need for prompt attention to rural infrastructure to ensure the safety and well-being of village residents.
