JAMSHEDPUR – A review meeting of the District e-Governance Society was chaired by East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal at the collectorate auditorium today. The meeting focused on improving public service delivery through better use of digital platforms and infrastructure.

Enhancing Certificate Services

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized resolving issues related to income, caste, and other certificates through the Jharsewa portal and Aadhaar centers. Pragya Kendra operators were instructed to enhance efficiency and ensure maximum public support.

Improving Digital Infrastructure

DGM BSNL was directed to strengthen Bharat Net facilities in Panchayat buildings and encourage its utilization. Additionally, the Jharnet engineer received instructions to improve internet speed across government offices, ensuring smoother operations.

Expanding e-Hospital Facilities

Currently, e-hospital facilities are operational in three hospitals within East Singhbhum. Plans were discussed to extend this service to community health centers (CHC) and primary health centers (PHC), enabling residents to access healthcare facilities conveniently from their homes.

The meeting witnessed the participation of Deputy Development Commissioner Aniket Sachan, Dhalbhum SDO Shatabdi Mazumdar, Nazrat Deputy Collector David Balihar, Panchayati Raj Officer Rinku Kumari, Establishment Deputy Collector Mrityunjay Kumar, and DIO Kishore Prasad, among others.
