RANCHI – BJP’s election co-in-charge for Jharkhand and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma declared that the next Chief Minister of Jharkhand will undoubtedly be from the BJP.

Sarma, speaking to journalists at Ranchi Airport, was accompanied by former BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash.

Sarma emphasized the BJP’s commitment to forming the government and replacing Hemant Soren’s administration with a "double engine" BJP government to accelerate development in Jharkhand.

"There’s no doubt that the next Chief Minister will be from the BJP," Sarma affirmed.

Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Khunti

During his visit, Sarma addressed a Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Torpa, Khunti, criticizing Hemant Soren’s government for failing to fulfill promises and engaging in illegal activities.

He accused the current administration of turning the state into a haven for infiltrators and land grabbers.

Sarma emphasized the need for laws to protect tribal daughters from forced marriages by outsiders.

"Not a single promise by Hemant Soren has been fulfilled. The state has become a den for infiltrators," Sarma stated.
