JAMSHEDPUR – BJP leader Kamlesh Sahu was brutally assaulted in the Sitaramdera police station area on Sunday evening, leading to his hospitalization at TMH.

Sahu, nephew of Odisha Governor Raghubar Das, has accused Braj Kishore (alias Bunty Singh) of orchestrating the attack.

DSP Bhola Prasad Singh and other officers rushed to the scene, admitting Sahu to the hospital.

The incident was captured on CCTV, with police forces deployed in Bhalubasa due to rising tensions.

Reports suggest Sahu visited Kishore’s house, leading to a verbal altercation that escalated into physical violence.

Kishore filed a counter-complaint, alleging Sahu was drunk and misbehaved with women at his residence.

Local residents surrounded Sitaramdera police station, demanding action against Sahu.

Police are investigating conflicting claims from both parties involved in the incident.

The assault on a prominent BJP figure has raised concerns about political tensions in the area.

Authorities are working to maintain peace while conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
