JAMSHEDPUR – A youth was beaten near the gate of JRD Sports Complex in Bistupur after a dispute between two boxing groups escalated outside the training venue.

Police said a video shows several youths striking another youth near the facility entrance. Moreover, the footage indicates that the attackers surrounded the victim.
On the other hand, officers noted that all involved individuals visited the complex for boxing practice.

Earlier, a clash occurred during training between youths from Baridih and Kitadih. However, the matter had settled inside the arena.
In addition, the confrontation reignited once the groups exited the complex.

Kitadih youths later struck a Baridih youth outside the gate. Meanwhile, both sides reached Bistupur police station.
Officers stated that written complaints are being submitted by both groups.

A local source said, “Such fights usually end inside, but this one spilled outside.”
Police confirmed that a formal inquiry will follow and judicial steps will proceed.

In similar incidents, youth assault cases have been reported earlier.
Besides this, kidnapping and assault incidents have drawn attention in the city.
On the other hand, personal dispute assaults were noted near TMH.
Moreover, police have dealt with knife attacks in Bistupur.
A previous altercation case at Jamshedpur court also saw assault charges filed.
