Hindi Diwas Celebrated at DBMS College of Education

Students, Teachers and Guests Join in Cultural Performances

JAMSHEDPUR – Hindi Diwas was celebrated with joy and dignity at DBMS College of Education.

The program was organized by the Literary Club and hosted by Priyanka Kumari and Meenakshi Kumari. It began with a lamp-lighting ceremony. Afterwards, student Poonam Kumari spoke on the importance of the Hindi language.

Principal Dr. Juhi Samarpita said that Hindi is the mother of all languages and should be spoken without hesitation. Vice-principal Dr. Monika Uppal added that some words linked to culture cannot be translated, showing Hindi’s unique depth.

Third-semester student Priyanka Kumari recited her self-composed poem, which impressed the gathering. B.Ed. students Tanya, Nikita, Neha, and Ankita performed a dance that added vibrancy to the event.

The highlight of the program was theatre artist Dinkar Sharma’s performance. His plays “Pakshi Aur Deemak” and “Mere Hone Ka Matlab” moved the audience. Some students were even brought to tears by the powerful acting.

Students and teachers from RMS Balichela also attended. Notably, several invited teachers were alumni of DBMS College, creating an emotional connection during the event.

The vote of thanks was given by Neelu Kumari. She expressed gratitude to guests, faculty, students, and staff. The program was coordinated by Dr. Meenakshi Choudhary, Literary Club convener, with support from Secretary Mrs. Sripriya Dhanmarajan, Joint Secretary Mrs. Sudha Dilip, and the teaching and non-teaching staff.
