Academic and Extracurricular Achievements Honored at Gala Event

Kerala Public School Kadma hosted its Annual Prize Nite on July 6, 2024, celebrating the academic and extracurricular achievements of its students.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Annual Prize Nite of Kerala Public School Kadma took place on July 6, 2024. The event was graced by Col. Earnest Paul, who is the Deputy General Manager (JTO) of Tata Steel Utility & Infrastructure Services Limited, as the chief guest.

The event was graced by Chairperson Shrimati Manorama Nair, Director Sharat Chandran, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, and Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar.

The evening started with the chief guest and other important guests lighting the ceremonial lamp.

During the school’s Annual Report, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee shared the accomplishments of the academic year 2023-24.

The audience was captivated by a cultural program that showcased a lively dance and choir performance.

A total of seventy-six students were recognized for their exceptional academic achievements. Additionally, a brand new rolling trophy in Mathematics was introduced specifically for students in classes 6 to 8.

Director Sharat Chandran expressed his admiration for the commitment shown by teachers, parents, and students, urging them to remain attentive and hardworking.

He emphasized the importance of the seven C’s of education: Character, Creativity, Communication, Computation Literacy, Critical Thinking, Citizenship, and Collaboration, stating that they are crucial for achieving success.

Colonel Earnest Paul praised the educational resources of the school and recognized the hard work of the management, teachers, and students.

He stressed how crucial it is to have a good balance of Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), and Cultural Quotient (CQ) in order to achieve well-rounded success in life.

The event ended with a vote of thanks given by Jatinder Kaur Panesar, the High School Coordinator, and was followed by the National Anthem.
