Congress leader criticizes PM for neglecting Sarna Code, spreading misinformation

Key Points:

• Modi accused of betraying tribals by not announcing Sarna Dharma Code

• Congress refutes PM’s claims about Bangladeshi intruders in Jharkhand

• BJP’s corruption allegations against opposition challenged by Dr. Ajoy Kumar

JAMSHEDPUR – Former MP Dr. Ajoy Kumar lambasted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for neglecting tribal interests and spreading misinformation during his recent Jamshedpur rally.

Kumar criticized Modi’s failure to announce the Sarna Dharma Code implementation.

This decision disappointed the tribal community, who had high expectations from the rally.

"The BJP’s tribal sympathy facade has crumbled," remarked a local tribal rights activist.

The Congress leader questioned Modi’s claims about Bangladeshi intruders seizing tribal lands.

He cited a recent Home Ministry affidavit stating no data exists on such land seizures.

Kumar accused the Prime Minister of stirring tensions between tribals and Muslims.

He demanded an apology from Modi for spreading what he called baseless propaganda.

The former MP also addressed corruption allegations made by the BJP.

He pointed out that the BJP ruled Jharkhand for over 14 years since its formation.

Kumar questioned Modi’s authority to speak on corruption given past BJP-era scandals.

"Modi’s anti-corruption stance rings hollow given his party’s track record," said Dr Ajoy Kumar.

The Congress leader highlighted unfulfilled promises made by the Prime Minister.

These included pledges to create two crore jobs annually and deposit ₹15 lakh in Indian accounts.

Kumar’s statements reflect growing discontent with the central government’s policies in Jharkhand.

The criticism underscores the political tensions surrounding tribal welfare and development issues.
