CHAIBASA – The ongoing feud between Jharkhand government minister, Banna Gupta, and Jamshedpur East MLA, Saryu Roy, escalated today as Gupta filed a defamation lawsuit against Roy in the court of MP MLA Special Judge Rishi Kumar in Chaibasa.

Banna Gupta testified in court today, reinforcing the complaint made in the special court of MP MLA.

Prakash Jha, Gupta’s advocate, stated that misleading news circulated by Saryu Roy since April 27 has brought harm to the Minister’s reputation.

Jha explained that a legal notice was sent to Roy, requesting an apology.
