Residents reported the incident to the Sitaramdera police station after hearing the gunfire.

The police officers were already camping in the area due to an earlier firing incident in Kalu Bagan under Sidgora police station.

Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot to investigate.

Eyewitnesses stated that the shots were fired in front of the Durga Mandap.

A shell was recovered from the scene, and the police are currently examining CCTV footage from the vicinity.
