JAMSHEDPUR – The issue came to light when the management of JEMCO Ground in the Telco area cut down trees that had been planted over 40 years ago near Mishra Garden.

Local resident Karandeep Singh expressed dismay, stating that illegal tree-cutting is an ongoing problem in the area. He mentioned that this issue has been repeatedly brought to the attention of the Forest Department.

Despite these complaints, five trees were uprooted on Wednesday, prompting outrage from the community.
