Thieves Flee from Sidhgora Attempt, Succeed in Stealing Rs 3.10 Lakh from Baridih Shop
An attempt was made to steal from a composite liquor shop near Sidhgora market, while another successful theft occurred at a liquor shop near Baridih roundabout.
JAMSHEDPUR – Thieves attempted to steal from a composite liquor shop near Sidhgora market in the Sidhgora police station area.
The thieves broke the lock of the shop but fled the scene when Tiger Mobile jawans arrived during their patrol.
The thieves, arriving in a car, then targeted a liquor shop near Baridih roundabout.
There, two thieves incapacitated the security guard, Anand Kumar, by making him unconscious before breaking the shop’s lock and stealing Rs 3.10 lakh.
Anand Kumar reported that upon regaining consciousness, he attempted to contact the police station in-charge, but his call went unanswered.
Shailendra Kumar, the shop in-charge, stated that the two-day collection of Rs 3.10 lakh was kept in the shop, which the thieves took.
Interestingly, the thieves did not steal any liquor.
The Excise Department was informed about the incident, and officials arrived at the scene to assess the situation.
The police have registered an FIR based on Shailendra Kumar’s statement and are investigating the case.
