The forest department worked in collaboration with Dalma Raja and other villagers, deciding against hunting for the festival. Officials were stationed at all entry points of Dalma hill, checking vehicles for weapons, nets, and other hunting equipment to prevent any harm to animals.

According to Ranger Digvijay Singh, there has been a significant increase in awareness among villagers about the protection of wild animals in recent years.

As a result, people are now more inclined to follow traditions without hunting, actively contributing to the conservation of wildlife.
