Winners Honored as Five-Day Event Showcases Skill and Strategy
The Chandan Chess Academy’s Chess Summer Camp 2024 concluded today after five days of intense competition and strategic play, from May 19 to May 23.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Chess Summer Camp 2024, organized by Chandan Chess Academy, wrapped up today with an enthusiastic celebration, marking the end of five days filled with competitive chess matches.
Participants competed in 17 rounds across three tournament categories, demonstrating their strategic skills and perseverance.
The victors were awarded trophies and certificates of excellence in a ceremony that celebrated their achievements.
Souryadipta Sarkar secured first place in the Senior Group, followed by Abhijeet Singh and Nikunj Agrawal.
In the Junior Group, Purav Rushabh Gandhi claimed the top spot, with Atharv Adesara and Sri Vikhyath Uppalapati taking second and third places, respectively.
Monali Biswas emerged as the champion of the women’s group, while Aditi Kashyap came in second and Anvi Agarwal secured third place.
All participants received keepsakes and certificates of participation, recognizing their dedication, commitment, and passion for chess.
The grand finale, held at a café in the CH Area, was graced by guest of honor Shankar Sarkar and chief guest Kavita Agarwal, principal of Mount Litera.
Chief Organizer Akshay Agrawal also attended, engaging with each player and highlighting the benefits of chess for stress relief and personal growth.
The event was a testament to the participants’ hard work and the Academy’s commitment to promoting the game of chess.
