Jharkhand Govt to Again Launch ‘Sarkar Apke Dwar’ Campaign in July
Chief Minister Champai Soren Instructs Officials to Prepare Blueprint for Public Outreach Program
The Jharkhand government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Champai Soren, is set to launch the ‘Sarkar Apke Dwar’ campaign, a crucial public outreach program, in the aftermath of the Lok Sabha elections.
RANCHI – Chief Minister Soren has directed the Chief Secretary and all departmental secretaries to prepare a blueprint for the campaign, signaling the government’s proactive approach to engaging with the public.
An important meeting is expected to be held soon to discuss the launch of the campaign, which has intensified activities at the secretariat level.
The ‘Sarkar Apke Dwar’ program, initially launched by former Chief Minister Hemant Soren on October 12, has already completed three successful phases, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from the public.
The government’s decision to relaunch the campaign demonstrates its commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of the people.
Timing of the Campaign
The government is carefully considering the timing of the campaign, taking into account the possible municipal elections in July.
The Backward Commission has submitted its report on the triple test to the government, and once the government gives its instructions, the commission will conduct the triple test, paving the way for the issuance of the municipal election notification.
Depending on the municipal election schedule, the date for the ‘Sarkar Apke Dwar’ campaign will be decided, either in July after the elections or at a later stage.
Chief Minister Soren is expected to hold a meeting soon to discuss these matters and finalize the campaign’s launch date.
Previous Successes and Scope of the Campaign
During the previous iterations of the campaign, the government received an overwhelming 55,44,554 applications related to various departments, out of which 55,36,636 applications have been executed, with 7,918 applications still under process.
The campaign covers a wide range of issues, including the Abua Housing Scheme, Birsa Irrigation Well Scheme, community and individual forest patta matters, Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme, caste, income, birth, death, and disability certificates, land-related matters, Ayushman Card, socio-economic basic needs, Sarvajan Pension Scheme, Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samridhi Scheme, Kisan Credit Card Scheme, Chief Minister Pashudhan Scheme, registration of migrant workers on the Shramadhan portal, amendments in revenue records and Aadhaar and ration cards, and redressal of complaints related to electricity bills, among others.
The ‘Sarkar Apke Dwar’ campaign reflects the Jharkhand government’s proactive approach to governance and its commitment to addressing the diverse needs of the citizens, ensuring that the benefits of various schemes and services reach the intended beneficiaries effectively.
