Voter Slip Distribution Begins in Jamshedpur District for Lok Sabha Elections

JAMSHEDPUR – Voter slip distribution began on May 7 across the district, with BLOs delivering slips door-to-door.
District Election Officer Ananya Mittal stated that the distribution will continue until May 18.
BLOs have been instructed to give slips only to the voter or a qualified family member.
During distribution, election-related information is shared to raise awareness and ensure maximum participation.
Mittal emphasized that delivering voter slips to all voters, whether in the city or remote villages, is crucial for the success of the democratic process.
Each slip includes a colorful voter guide explaining how to vote with EVMs and information about ECI facilities like the Voter Helpline App.
The front of the slip features booth details and a QR code, while the back provides BLO contacts and alternative documents for voting.
The guide also explains the postal ballot and home voting options for seniors and disabled voters.
