Background of the Case

The arrested criminals were involved in the January 7 firing incident at a toll plaza in Jorkat on National Highway, where a laborer was shot. During the investigation, police identified Aman Sahu, Rahul Singh, and Mayank Singh as key suspects in the case.

Police Crackdown and Arrests

Acting on a tip-off about the suspects’ presence in Redma, Superintendent of Police Reeshma Rameshan formed a special team to conduct the raid. The team successfully arrested Shubham and Akash Kumar, recovering a pistol, bullets, and crucial evidence.
