JAMSHEDPUR – A total of 121 individuals exercised their franchise on the first day in Jamshedpur’s designated polling stations, established for election staff and essential service workers.
These centers cater to voters whose Lok Sabha constituencies will vote in the fourth phase of the national elections.
Polling stations have been arranged at the SDO office in Dhalbhum and the ITDA office.
The voting process will occur from May 6 to 10.
At the postal ballot center located at the SDO office, Dhalbhum, voting commenced at 9 a.m.
Individuals from districts in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies have been actively participating.
Arrangements such as these ensure that essential service workers on election duty can cast their votes.
"The arrangements are running smoothly to ensure all eligible personnel can vote efficiently," said a local official.
