Jamshedpur Police Crack Major Crime Ring, Arrest Seven for Murder
Jamshedpur Police recently disclosed the arrest of seven individuals involved in the murder of driver Sunny Yadav, which occurred near Vasundhara Estate. The crime was uncovered under the jurisdiction of Ulidih police station on April 14. Along with the arrests, the police confiscated an array of weapons and vehicles, including two motorcycles, one auto, and various firearms. This crackdown has removed a significant threat from the community, marking a major success for local law enforcement.
JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur Police on Tuesday disclosed the arrest of seven individuals involved in the murder of driver Sunny Yadav, which occurred near Vasundhara Estate.
The arrests were made following the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by City SP.
Initial arrests included Abhishek Shah and Rohit Sharma, apprehended in Ghatshila based on gathered intelligence.
Further investigations led to the capture of five more suspects from a kiln in Hurlung, Birsanagar.
Recovered items from the arrested suspects included three pistols, three country-made pistols, 11 live cartridges, and three magazines.
SSP Kishore Kaushal revealed that the motive behind the murder was suspected involvement of Sunny Yadav in earlier local crimes, leading the suspects to seek retribution.
The seven arrested individuals, including Praveer Singh alias Chhotu and Rahul Singh alias Rahul Bachha, have all confessed to their involvement in Yadav’s murder and are now facing judicial proceedings.
