Ranju Devi Sought by Police for Involvement in In-Law’s Murder in Kalyan Nagar

Police escalate efforts to apprehend murder suspect Ranju Devi by pasting public notices at her residence, with her house at risk of confiscation if she fails to appear in court.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a notable development, Sitaramdera police visited Kalyan Nagar on Wednesday, where they publicly announced and pasted advertisements regarding the absconding murder accused, Ranju Devi.

Authorities declared through loudspeaker announcements that Devi is wanted in connection with the murder case and must present herself in court promptly.

Failure to comply will lead to the confiscation of her house, as stated by the police during their visit.

The case dates back to October of the previous year, when 55-year-old Lalati Devi was murdered in the same locality.

Ranju Devi is accused of orchestrating the murder of her daughter-in-law, Lalati, with assistance from her husband, Bharat.

Bharat, who had been married twice, with Lalati as his second wife, has already been apprehended by the police.

This incident adds to the ongoing investigation as police intensify their search to locate Ranju Devi.
