According to Dr. Kumar, individuals who experience a significant loss of dopamine-producing cells in the brain are more prone to exhibiting Parkinson’s symptoms.

He noted that approximately 60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease are diagnosed annually, highlighting the scale of the problem.

While Parkinson’s is typically diagnosed in individuals over the age of 55, Dr. Kumar pointed out that the disease can also affect those in the 30-40 age range.
