Jharkhand Congress Chief Predicts BJP’s Seat Count to Plummet in Lok Sabha Elections

Rajesh Thakur Accuses BJP of Resorting to Divisive Tactics, Urges Focus on Core Issues

Rajesh Thakur, the Jharkhand Congress President, has claimed that the release of the Congress party manifesto has caused disarray within the BJP, diverting Prime Minister Modi’s attention and leading Thakur to forecast a drastic reduction in the BJP’s Lok Sabha seat tally to a mere 180.

RANCHI – In a scathing attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jharkhand Congress President Rajesh Thakur has asserted that the party, after a decade in power, is now resorting to divisive tactics instead of reflecting on its governance record.

Thakur accused the BJP of repeatedly employing communal narratives to polarize voters during elections, urging the public to remain cautious of such strategies and prioritize core issues over baseless rumors.

"The BJP aims to inject communalism into the nation’s fabric and demonstrates a lack of faith in the Constitution," Thakur alleged, criticizing Prime Minister Modi for what he termed as unruly behavior and diversionary tactics to shift focus away from pressing matters.

Emphasizing the critical nature of the upcoming elections, Thakur stated, "These elections are crucial for safeguarding the Constitution and ensuring justice for all segments of society, including farmers, youth, and women."

All India Congress spokesperson Jyoti Singh highlighted the party’s manifesto, which focuses on five pillars of justice: youth justice, farmers’ justice, women’s justice, labor justice, and equity justice.

The manifesto, Singh elaborated, promises swift recruitment to fill job vacancies, the elimination of certain schemes, guaranteed minimum support prices for farmers, and strengthened social security measures, among other initiatives.

Thakur’s scathing remarks against the BJP and his prediction of a significant reduction in their Lok Sabha seat count underscore the intense political battle that lies ahead as the nation gears up for the forthcoming elections.
