Jamshedpur Police Nab Thieves, Recover Stolen Vehicles and Mobiles
Bistupur police arrest two individuals in separate incidents, seizing stolen motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, and mobile phones.
Jamshedpur’s Bistupur Police have made significant progress in cracking down on theft cases, arresting two individuals and recovering a substantial number of stolen vehicles, including motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, and mobile phones.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a series of successful raids, the Bistupur Police of Jamshedpur have apprehended two individuals involved in separate theft cases, leading to the recovery of stolen vehicles and mobile phones.
The raids were conducted by officials and policemen under the leadership of Bistupur police station in-charge Umesh Kumar Thakur.
During the operation, the police arrested Krishna Rana alias Shekhar Rana near the Hanuman Temple in Mango and Sanjay Bagh, a resident of Hume Pipe Road, Sitaramdera, near MGM Hospital.
The police recovered a stolen Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle, an Edo scooter, four bicycles, and three mobile phones from their possession.
The arrested individuals confessed to the police that they were attempting to sell the stolen motorcycle and bicycles when they were caught.
The police are also working on apprehending other members of their gang.
An FIR has been prepared by the police, and further investigations are underway to determine the origins of the stolen vehicles.
All the stolen items have been recovered from the homes of the accused.
In a separate incident, Bistupur police arrested two individuals for stealing mobile phones in the Bistupur market.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Dheeraj Sahu alias Shivam Kumar, a resident of Baldev Basti in the Jugsalai police station area, and Rohit Ram alias Lala.
The police action followed a complaint of mobile theft lodged on April 4.
The accused were caught red-handed by people while stealing mobile phones in the Bistupur market and were subsequently handed over to the police.
The stolen mobile phones have been seized from their possession.
