Jharkhand Transfers 13 District and Sessions Judges, New Appointments Announced

Personnel Department issues notification for the transfer and posting of 13 district and session judges across Jharkhand.

The Personnel Department of Jharkhand has issued a notification for the transfer of 13 district and session judges, assigning them to new positions to streamline judicial administration.

RANCHI – The Personnel Department of Jharkhand has announced the transfer and posting of 13 district and session judges.

District and Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge (MP-MLA Court Dumka) Laxman Prasad has been appointed as the District and Additional Sessions Judge and Sessions Special Judge, Anti Corruption Bureau, Chaibasa, until further notice.

Yogesh Kumar Singh, District and Additional Sessions Judge Bokaro, is now the Additional Justice Commissioner cum Special Judge (Anti Corruption Bureau Ranchi).

Ramesh Kumar, previously with the Appellate Tribunal RRDA Ranchi, will serve as the Presiding Officer of the Labor Court in Jamshedpur.

Rakesh Kumar has been transferred from Pakur to the role of Special Judge of District and Additional Sessions Judge, CBI Dhanbad.

Prem Nath Pandey, formerly Special Judge, POCSO Act, Daltonganj, is now posted as Principal Judge Additional Family Court, Bokaro Bermo Tenughat, until further orders.

The notification aims to enhance judicial efficiency and address administrative requirements.

The Personnel Department’s decision is expected to facilitate better management within the judiciary.

These transfers are part of routine administrative adjustments carried out by the department.
