Jamshedpur Police Dismantle Mobile Snatching Gang, Four Arrested

In a decisive strike against mobile snatching activities, Jamshedpur police have arrested four members of a notorious gang, recovering stolen items and enhancing local security.
JAMSHEDPUR – The district’s police, acting on a directive from the SSP, has successfully dismantled a criminal gang involved in snatching mobile phones from train passengers.
The raid, led by City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat and other senior officers, targeted the Baghbeda police station area.
Four notorious criminals were apprehended during the operation.
The individuals, identified as Rajneesh Kumar Gupta alias Modi, Sonu Kumar alias Pada, Vijay Sahu alias Kala Til, and Sagar Yadav, are known for their extensive criminal records in the region.
Police recovered four mobile phones directly linked to recent snatching incidents.
The arrests followed intelligence reports about the gang’s activities and their residence in the Baghbeda area.
All four culprits have been sent to judicial custody, marking a significant victory for local law enforcement efforts to combat theft and enhance passenger safety on trains.
