Jamshedpur officials meet to map sensitive polling stations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, emphasizing a peaceful voting process.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant step towards ensuring the integrity of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, a high-level meeting was convened under the leadership of Jamshedpur District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal at the DC office.

The assembly witnessed the participation of key officials, including Jamshedpur SSP Kishore Kaushal, DDC Manish Kumar, City SP Mukesh Lunayat, and others.

The primary focus was on the mapping of sensitive polling stations across the district.

Ananya Mittal emphasized the importance of a meticulous approach in identifying vulnerable booths to guarantee elections that are free, fair, and devoid of any fear.

"Identifying vulnerable booths now facilitates the deployment of adequate police forces, ensuring a peaceful election," Mittal remarked.

He highlighted the administration’s role in pinpointing sensitive booths and orchestrating peaceful elections.

A directive was issued to complete the final vulnerability mapping within two days.

Mittal also instructed the Block Development Officer, Circle Officer, and Police Station Incharge to collaboratively review and designate the booths.

This initiative underscores the district’s commitment to uphold the democratic process and ensure that every vote is cast in a secure environment.
