JAMSHEDPUR – The focus on waste management is intensifying in Jamshedpur, with a spotlight on wet waste, predominantly processed at the City Compost Plant in Jubilee Park.
Plans are underway to enhance the CH area Waste Transfer Station with a Material Recovery Facility for sorting and processing dry waste mechanically.
An educational visit exposed students to waste management practices, including a future facility for sorting dry waste.

Students from Cooperative College learned about the city’s waste management strategies, including advanced garbage collection and processing.
