MEDININAGAR – The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) held a district-level meeting on Monday at its Palamu office. Chaired by district president Rajendra Sinha and coordinated by district secretary Sanu Siddiqui, the meeting reviewed the recent Jharkhand assembly election results.
JMM leaders lauded Chief Minister Hemant Soren for his leadership and congratulated party workers for the alliance’s success. They attributed the victory to Soren’s welfare-centric policies and highlighted the alliance’s gain of three seats in Palamu.
Key Discussions and Decisions
The meeting focused on preparations for the JMM’s upcoming convention and intensifying the membership campaign. Sinha urged leaders and workers to actively engage in urban and rural membership drives. “Our goal is to strengthen grassroots connections and expand party outreach,” he remarked.
Additionally, the Tandwa block committee was dissolved due to disciplinary issues. The district president emphasized maintaining unity and discipline within the party.
Participation and Plans Ahead
Leaders including Ramesh Singh, Sanjeev Tiwari, and Chandan Sinha expressed views on enhancing the party’s organizational strength. Plans for the JMM convention were discussed, with strategies to mobilize support in the region.
The event witnessed active participation from over 30 members, including Bal Kishan Oraon, Kamal Khan, and others, who pledged commitment to the party’s mission.
