Shri Shri Sheetala Mata Temple Tuiladungari Celebrates Navratri Jwara Puja with Great Fervor
21 Jyoti Kalash Lit in Front of Mother Sheetala, Honoring the Historical Temple’s Legacy
On the first day of Navratri Jwara Puja, the Shri Shri Sheetala Mata Temple in Tuiladungari witnessed a grand celebration as 21 Jyoti Kalash were lit in front of Mother Sheetala. The historical temple, established by the ancestors of the Chhattisgarhi community in 1910 before independence, hosted the event with great pomp and show.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Shri Shri Sheetala Mata Temple in Tuiladungari, a historical shrine established by the ancestors of the Chhattisgarhi community in 1910 before independence, celebrated the first day of Navratri Jwara Puja with immense fervor and devotion.
In the evening, 21 Jyoti Kalash were lit in front of Mother Sheetala, symbolizing the divine light and blessings of the goddess.
The lamp lighting ceremony was jointly performed by Raju Giri, Vice Chairman of the State Cow Service Commission, social worker Suraj Bhadani, and BJP leader cum temple committee chairman Dinesh Kumar.
In his address, Raju Giri emphasized the Chhattisgarh society’s long-standing tradition of organizing this puja with great rituals and devotion.
He highlighted the significance of worshiping the new form of Maa Durga during Chaitra Navratri, stating that it brings happiness, peace, and prosperity to the homes of the devotees.
Temple President Dinesh Kumar enlightened the gathering about the rich history of the temple and urged the younger generation to preserve and cherish the society’s heritage.
Social worker Suraj Bhadani also addressed the program, pledging his unwavering support to the temple and its future endeavors.
The program was skillfully conducted by coordinator Parmanand Kaushal, while General Secretary Girdhari Lal delivered the vote of thanks.
The event witnessed the presence of numerous devotees and community members, including Aish Ram Sahu, Motilal Sahu, Khaleshwar Sahu, Rameshwar Sahu, Gangaram Sahu, Naresh Nishad, Dayalu Ram Nishad, Chandrika Nishad, Mahavir Prasad, Triveni Kumar, Birendra Sahu, Jamuna Nishad, Indra Sahu, Manju Thakur, Nutan Sahu, Parvati Devi, Phulo Devi, Deepak Sahu, Mahavir Nirmalkar, Manmohan Lal, Manju Sahu, and Draupadi Sahu, among others.
