Jamshedpur Police Crack Double Homicide, Arrest Six Culprits
In a significant breakthrough, Jamshedpur police solve a double murder, arresting six, including two masterminds.
JAMSHEDPUR – SSP Kishore Kaushal recently disclosed details of a major police operation in Jamshedpur.
In a well-coordinated effort, the Jamshedpur police apprehended six individuals linked to a double murder.
The arrests followed a tip-off about a planned robbery near Swarnarakha river’s pump house in Benashol.
Police cornered the suspects at the location, leading to their capture.
This operation unveiled their involvement in the December 8th murder of Congress leader Dabur’s brother Shahzad alias Tanda and a policeman.
During interrogation, Shatrughan Hansda and Raju Tanti confessed to their roles in these killings.
Additionally, they admitted to stealing copper and aluminum wire from the DVC power station at Taladih on January 8th.
The police successfully recovered the stolen wire and other items from the suspects.
Raju Tanti, with eight cases against him, and Shatrughan Hansda, facing two, were key figures in this case.
Their criminal activities spanned areas including Mango, Chowka, Tamar, and Musabani.
Following the press conference, the suspects underwent medical examination before being incarcerated.
