Employee injured in night shift altercation at ISWP Jamshedpur

One employee suspended after physical confrontation with another employee at Indian Steel Wire Products in Telco police station area

An employee of Indian Steel Wire Products (ISWP) in Jamshedpur suffered a head injury during a night shift altercation, leading to the suspension of another employee pending investigation.

JAMSHEDPUR – Authorities from Telco police station intervened upon learning of the incident, although no formal complaint has been filed. The company has treated the matter as an internal issue and initiated disciplinary action by suspending Sonu Sharma.

Investigations into the incident are underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to the altercation and to ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent such incidents in the future. The incident occurred on Tuesday night around 11:30 PM during the night shift duty at the rod mill of the wire company.

An altercation ensued between employees Sonu Sharma and Ramsagar Tiwari, escalating into a physical altercation, which led to Tiwari sustaining a head injury. The injured employee received medical treatment, and another employee involved in the altercation has been suspended pending investigation.
