Bhagwat Katha Concludes with Joyous Holi Celebrations in Sakchi
Devotees Immerse in Divine Narratives and Festive Spirit
The seven-day Bhagwat Katha at Sakchi Shri Ramleela Maidan concluded on Friday with vibrant Holi festivities, as devotees immersed themselves in the divine narratives of Lord Shri Krishna, led by narrator Swami Sarvgyanand Ji Maharaj.
JAMSHEDPUR – The 7-day Bhagwat Katha that was attracting huge crowd of listeners culminated in Friday with Holi celebrations.
The concluding Havan ceremony was followed by a grand Bhandara, where hundreds of devotees gathered to partake in the divine blessings and offerings.
The hosts on the final day of the Bhagwat Katha were Sheela-Manoj Kumar Mishra, Lakshmi-Pawan Agrahari, Gayatri-Brajesh Bajpayee, Vikas Singh, and a team of committed individuals including Dr. DP Shukla, Ramphal Mishra, and many others.
Reflecting on the significance of Bhagwat Katha, Swami Sarvgyanand Ji emphasized the importance of cow, Tulsi, and the presence of Shrimad Bhagwat Granth in households for spiritual liberation. Throughout the seven days, devotees were transported to Vrindavan through the mesmerizing recitals, experiencing the divine presence of Lord Krishna.
The festive spirit reached its peak as devotees danced to melodious tunes, embodying the joyous atmosphere of Vrindavan. The climax of the event was the playful Holi of flowers, accompanied by chants of Sri Radhe. Devotees reveled in the heavenly bliss of colours and flowers.
The final day commenced with solemn rituals including Tulsi varsha, havan-puja, Kapila tarpan, and Sahastradhara, followed by the narration of significant episodes from the Shrimad Bhagwat. As the captivating tales unfolded, the audience was enraptured by the essence of Lord Krishna’s divine Leela.
