Tata Steel’s TomorrowLAB fosters innovation among students and employees

Tata Steel’s TomorrowLAB competition culminates, announcing winners from IIT Kharagpur and Tata Steel Nest-In.

JAMSHEDPUR – The winners of TomorrowLAB’s third edition were celebrated in a grand virtual finale on March 8, 2024.

Team Invictus from IIT Kharagpur clinched the student track’s top spot.

Team Juley Cabins from Tata Steel Nest-In won the employee track.

The competition aims to instill entrepreneurial spirit within Tata Steel and the academic community.

A four-member jury, featuring Tata Steel’s senior executives, decided the winners.

Cash prizes were awarded to the winning teams, acknowledging their innovative solutions.

Around 25,000 participants, including 155 Tata Steel employees, engaged in this year’s challenge.

The contest saw submissions across themes like infrastructure, energy, and rural development.

Finalists received mentorship from Tata Steel’s Innovent team before presenting their ideas.

The event highlighted Tata Steel’s commitment to innovation and future market readiness.
