Free Health Camp in Baharagora Showcases BJP’s Community Focus

Dr. Dineshanand Goswami Leads Health Camp, Partners with RITES Ltd., Citizens Foundation to Serve Over 400 Patients

Dr. Goswami’s health initiative in Baharagora block garners community support, providing free medical consultations to over 400 locals, identifying 33 cataract patients for further treatment.

JAMSHEDPUR – A wave of community health swept across Baharagora block on Sunday as BJP leader and ex-president of Jharkhand State BJP Dr. Dineshanand Goswami orchestrated a free health camp at Sakra Panchayat Bhawan.

With the backing of Citizens Foundation and RITES Ltd., a flagship enterprise of the Government of India, the camp saw 11 seasoned doctors providing medical consultations to more than 413 individuals.

The initiative, aiming at bolstering Baharagora’s health and prosperity, was deemed a resounding success.

Highlighting the collaborative spirit, RITES Ltd. and Citizens Foundation have previously joined hands in hosting similar health camps across different villages in Jharkhand, amplifying healthcare accessibility.

Among the attendees, 33 individuals were identified for cataract treatment, slated to be conducted at Purnima Netralaya under the Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Scheme, although recent revisions have excluded cataract surgeries from the scheme’s coverage.

Dr. Goswami’s initiative reflects a larger vision of enhancing local healthcare infrastructure, a step towards curbing the migration triggered by healthcare inadequacies.

Acknowledging the collective effort, Dr. Goswami extended his heartfelt gratitude to all participants, marking a stride towards a healthier Baharagora.
