Governor Commends Dr. Goswami’s Efforts in Providing Health-care in Rural Areas
Governor CP Radhakrishnan inaugurates a significant health fair in Baharagora, highlighting the importance of community health and welfare.
JAMSHEDPUR – Governor CP Radhakrishnan inaugurated a health fair in Baharagora, organized by the Citizens Foundation and former BJP state president Dr. Dineshanand Goswami, with support from RITES Limited.
The Governor commended the continuous efforts of Dr. Goswami and the organization in providing health benefits through 50 successful health camps in the region.
He emphasized the importance of living a life that serves others, reflecting on the meaningful impact of such initiatives.
The health fair aims to raise health awareness and offer expert medical advice to patients, addressing the growing health concerns and expensive treatments in the country.
Dr. Goswami, addressing the function, highlighted the achievement of providing free treatment to 25,000 people through 50 health camps in the last two years.
Specialist doctors from Odisha, Bengal, and Jharkhand examined patients at the 51st camp.
He pointed out the lack of healthcare facilities in Baharagora and his commitment to improving health services in the area.
The Governor was urged to open a Birsa Agriculture Center in Baharagora to benefit local farmers and to advocate for an ESI hospital for enhanced healthcare access.
Padmashree Jamuna Tudu also addressed the function, and the Governor rewarded doctors participating in the camp.
The event was attended by notable personalities including Ranjit Bala, Suman Kalyan Mandal, Nirmal Dubey, and others, underscoring the community’s commitment to health and wellness.
