Series of Thefts in Seraikela: Government School, Panchayat, and Shop Targeted
Seraikela witnesses a spree of thefts at a school, panchayat building, and a grocery store.
SERAIKELA – In a startling series of thefts, criminals targeted a government school, the panchayat building, and a grocery shop in the Seraikela police station area. The raids, which occurred last night, resulted in the theft of goods worth lakhs from these three locations.
At the Doubly Upgraded High School, thieves broke into the ITC lab and stole three computer systems, six batteries, and a printer. The school’s headmaster, Motilal Munda, discovered the theft on Friday morning.
In a similar manner, the Dugni Panchayat building was breached, with thieves stealing an LED TV by breaking a ventilator.
Additionally, the nearby grocery shop, Variety Store, was also burglarized, with the thieves making off with around Rs 12,000 in cash.
These simultaneous thefts have sparked outrage among the residents of Dugni Panchayat. The local community has reported the incidents to the Seraikela Superintendent of Police.
Seraikela Police have commenced an investigation into these thefts, seeking to apprehend those responsible for this crime spree.
