Tata Steel Kalinganagar Announces Recruitment for Junior Engineer Positions

Permanent positions open for candidates with diplomas in engineering and relevant work experience

Tata Steel’s Kalinganagar plant has initiated a recruitment drive for the role of junior engineer, aiming to fill permanent positions within the organization.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s Kalinganagar plant has announced a recruitment drive for junior engineer positions, with a focus on candidates holding three-year full-time diplomas in various engineering disciplines from recognized institutes.

Preference will be given to applicants with diplomas in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgical Engineering.

Candidates who have obtained degrees in Electronics or Mechatronics from RD Tata Technical Education Centre, Tata Steel Technical Institute Burmamines, and JN Tata Technical Center will also receive preferential consideration.

To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in their respective fields.

The eligibility criteria require general candidates to have secured at least 55 percent marks in engineering, while SC and ST candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50 percent marks.

Age restrictions dictate that applicants must be born between May 1, 1984, and May 1, 2006, to be considered for the position.

Successful candidates will be placed in permanent D1 grade roles at Tata Steel Kalinganagar, with a monthly salary of Rs 17,530 and an annual CTC of 5.6 lakhs.

The selection process will involve a written examination followed by an interview, and selected candidates will be offered reinstatement.

To be eligible, applicants must be domiciled in the state of Odisha.
