Lok Sabha Elections: Jamshedpur Gears Up with Strategic Polling Station Setup

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Jamshedpur’s officials ensure strategic placement of polling stations for smooth electoral process.

JAMSHEDPUR – In preparation for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, Mr. Ananya Mittal, District Election Officer, along with Mr. Kishore Kaushal, Senior Superintendent of Police, recently conducted a thorough review of the selected dispatch points for polling parties.

The officials toured the market committee premises and LBSM College to finalize the dispatch points.

They aimed to facilitate a seamless movement of polling parties to their designated areas.

The officials present were directed to make comprehensive arrangements.

These included the distribution of election material and the setup of EVM VVPATs.

Also emphasized was the necessity for adequate parking, and essential amenities like water, toilets, and electricity.

Additionally, there was a focus on ensuring medical facilities and a help desk were available.

The intention is to prevent any hindrances for the polling parties during their deployment.

A notable presence at the review included Deputy Development Commissioner Mr. Manish Kumar, City SP Mr. Mukesh Lunayat, and SDM Dhalbhum Mr. Piyush Sinha.

ADM Law and Order Mr. Rajeev Ranjan and District Public Relations Officer Mr. Panchanan Oraon also attended.

Representatives from various departments like Municipal Body, Building Construction, and Electricity, Election Branch, and Transport were present too.

This collective effort underscores the district’s commitment to a smooth electoral process.
