JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur administration is gearing up to conduct the Lok Sabha elections flawlessly in the district.

The commitment to host free and fair Lok Sabha elections in Jamshedpur was underscored in an extensive inspection conducted by a team of officials today.

District Public Relations Officer Panchanan Oraon and Deputy Election Officer Priyanka Singh led the team.

They were part of an extensive inspection aiming for flawless electoral conduct.

The team’s focus was on ensuring stringent adherence to Election Commission norms across all venues.

Election security and the suitability of counting rooms and strong rooms were a priority.

The review encompassed discussions on counting room construction and the selection of optimal locations.

The arrangements for vote counting and Electoral Roll Officer tables received special attention.

Officials also scrutinized election material management, dispatch center operations, and personnel arrangements.

Key locations such as Cooperative College and XLRI were among the sites inspected for election readiness.

District Magistrate Ananya Mittal and other senior officials led the detailed inspection.

This involved assessing alternative sites for electoral activities to meet Election Commission standards.

The inspection marked a critical step in preparing for the elections, with a focus on logistical and security arrangements.
