15-year-old Shubham Mahato from Jamshedpur loses life while filming video
A teenage boy lost his life after falling from a waterfall in East Singhbhum district while attempting to record a video.
JAMSHEDPUR – A 15-year-old boy tragically died after slipping and falling from a waterfall in Kadiyamkocha, East Singhbhum district, while trying to film a video.
Shubham Mahato, a resident of Khuntadih in Sonari, Jamshedpur, had visited the waterfall with friends.
The incident occurred on Monday evening at a waterfall in Kendua Panchayat of the Dumaria police station area.
While attempting to record a video, Shubham began climbing the waterfall but lost his footing.
The teenager sustained fatal injuries from the fall and died at the spot.
Villagers alerted the police about the tragic incident.
Shubham’s body was subsequently sent to MGM Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Dumaria police station in-charge Sugna Munda visited the site following the incident.
DSP Sandeep Bhagat and Kowali police station in-charge Dhananjay Paswan also inspected the location.
The tragic event highlights the dangers of attempting risky activities for social media content.
