Jharkhand State Tax Division Sees Key Changes

Jharkhand Government announces reshuffle in State Tax division to enhance operational efficiency.

New appointments aim to streamline State Tax operations across Jharkhand, ensuring better service delivery.

RANCHI – The Department of Commerce in Jharkhand has initiated significant personnel changes within the State Tax division, aiming to bolster efficiency and streamline operations.

Ratan Lal Gupta moves from Jamshedpur to Hazaribagh as the Joint Commissioner of State Tax, taking his expertise to the Hazaribagh Division.

Awadhesh Kumar Mehra will transition from Hazaribagh to Jamshedpur, assuming the role of Joint Commissioner of State Tax, with an emphasis on enhancing services in the Adityapur Circle.

Kumudni Sinku, previously in charge of appeals in Jamshedpur, steps up as Commissioner (Appeals) in the Santhal Pargana Division, Dumka, while also overseeing duties in Ranchi’s Western and Eastern Zones.

Vinod Kumar Singh shifts his base of operations to Jamshedpur as the Additional Commissioner (Appeals), with additional responsibilities in Singhbhum and Chaibasa Zones.

These strategic appointments and transfers, effective immediately, are part of the government’s effort to ensure a more effective and responsive State Tax system across Jharkhand.
