JAMSHEDPUR – The East Central Railway has issued a notification regarding the regulation of train services due to ongoing developmental works within its jurisdiction.

This includes the cancellation of several trains, including the 18611/18612 Ranchi-Banaras Express, 18635/18636 Ranchi-Sasaram Express on multiple dates throughout February 2024.

The cancellations are part of a broader strategy to facilitate infrastructure enhancements and ensure passenger safety across the network.

In addition to cancellations, the East Central Railway has also announced the diversion of several key train services.

This includes the 18311/18312 Visakhapatnam-Banaras Express, 12801/12802 Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express, and the 12825/12826 Ranchi-Anand Vihar Sampark Kranti Express among others.

The diverted routes will pass through alternative stations such as Barkakana, Hazaribagh Town, Koderma, Gaya, and Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya junctions, impacting travel plans and schedules.

The 12877/12878 Ranchi-New Delhi Garibrath Express and the 20407/20408 Ranchi-New Delhi Rajdhani Express are also among the trains affected, rerouted via Garhwa Road, Chopan, and Chunar.
