SERAIKELA – Upon assuming his role as the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Seraikela, Dilip Khalko made his first official visit to the Adityapur police station, where he reviewed the station’s daily operations.
Addressing the media, Khalko conveyed his commitment to tangible results over rhetoric, especially in response to queries regarding the escalating problem of brown sugar in the region.
Khalko highlighted the uniqueness of each officer’s approach to law enforcement, promising that his methods would soon become apparent. He expressed particular concern over the impact of brown sugar on the youth, noting the strict directives from higher-ups to clamp down on this issue.
The SDPO announced plans for rigorous action against those involved in the drug trade, including the potential use of the Crime Control Act (CCA) and continuous monitoring of known offenders.
Khalko also mentioned the implementation of a special action plan for Kharsawan and Kuchai, hinting at significant outcomes expected in the near future.
He called for the community’s support and offered reassurance that his office would be accessible around the clock, eliminating the need for intermediaries. Khalko’s direct approach aims to foster a safer environment and address any issues head-on.
